In just three 15-minute sessions, you learned valuable facts about habits and how they are made. Our efficient brains will make almost anything into a habit to save energy.
Imagine having to relearn how to tie your shoes every time you need to. Whew! We'd all be wearing flip-flops.
Donning your lab coat, you learned that habit-making is a relatively simple process - there's a cue or trigger, then a routine or behavior, and then a payoff or reward.
For example, Nice day for a walk (cue), you put on and tie your shoes (behavior), you enjoy the walk and don't trip on your laces (reward). Simple right?
You then put this knowledge into action by designing a new habit and learning that tiny is huge, and celebration is key.
Join me today for our final Habit FIX to wrap up the series and learn something interesting about rewards. Let's make habit creation a living-room-dancing, high-five slapping, woo-hoo shouting kind of thing!
I look forward to seeing you at 11:00am EDT!
