Breaking through the biggest barrier to resilience

In times of setbacks, pressure, challenge, or change, how often do you notice your mind getting in your way? If your answer is YES, there is no judgment here (that's one of the key parts of mindfulness practice!) But what are you going to do to refine your thoughts?

According to Karen Reivich, one of the leading experts in resilience, one of the biggest barriers to our ability to be resilient lies in our minds. She calls them "Thinking Traps" or faulty thinking.

In order to be more resilient, we need to understand the language of resilience and the words of resilience and start getting comfortable with the complexities of our emotional health.

In this week's Body-Mind Resilience training class, let's look at these "Thinking Traps" together and explore a mind-body practice that can support you in navigating that barrier.

This month these classes will have a bit of lecture, some stories, and a lot of physical and mindfulness practices that you can add to your Resiliency Toolbox.

I look forward to meeting you at 12:30pm!
