Our lives are made up of a system of different habits and practices that we have in place. Some of them we've consciously created, and some of them we might not be so aware of. Some of them support our wholebeing, and some might be paving a path away from our optimal state of being.
Let's say that you're looking closely at your eating habits to build better health....at first; you might start to look deeper into nutrition and ensure your body is getting all the vital elements it needs from the food you consume. Next, you might examine when you're eating, and how you're eating.
The same idea can be applied when you look at the elements and habits that contribute to getting enough good quality sleep. Practicing these elements is known as "sleep hygiene."
