In this day and age, the value of slowing down and resting is often overshadowed by productivity pressures. And sometimes, when people finally do slow down and relax, they reflect that they "feel tired" and don't want to feel that way, so they keep going and going.
But what if that tired feeling was you slowing down enough and realizing, "Wow, I'm actually tired!"
The beauty of Restorative Yoga is that it creates space for your nervous system to rest profoundly and repair. So even though you may feel tired at first, know that something deeper is at work, and you're ultimately giving your body the restoration it needs.
Join me today to experience a practice focusing on the spine and hips and bringing a sense of deep restoration to your mind and body.
I know some of you are logging in from work at this time, so this week's class will highlight a few things you can do at your office to experience more restoration during your workday, wherever you may be.
This session can easily be practiced in a chair, and I will demonstrate those variations for you. If you have a pillow or yoga bolster and two yoga blocks, please bring those to class. If you don't, come anyway, and I'll offer an alternate posture that will support you.
I look forward to meeting you at 4:00pm EST!
