It's time for mindfulness
Hello! My name is Jack Curley and I am looking forward to connecting with you over the next 4 weeks for the Mindfulness Classes during this month where our theme is PRESENCE.
Together we’ll be exploring some simple mindfulness practices that have become invaluable personal and professional skills for me and I hope they will become tools for you also.
These simple practices, breathing and checking in with your body are where we’ll begin. You may wonder how much of a difference these practices could make in the crazy roller coaster ride of life right now?
For many years I was an engineer working on intense public projects, and like you, my life has had some bumps. Having mindfulness tools did not make all the challenges of my life go away but these practices have given me ways to navigate life with more ease, calm, and joy.
There is much about your life that you can make choices about.
Mindfulness helps you recognize those choices and cultivate the ability
to pay attention to your breath, your mind, and your life.
