Today is the last FIX of our Nature series, and we will talk about fear and awareness.
Awareness is the key to living a full and healthy life, especially in times of uncertainty.
In a culture and time where our nervous systems are over-stimulated, provoking tension and health-related issues, having tools for self-regulation and looking at how nature can help us is an important skill to have.
Can we see fear as an invitation to develop awareness instead of a dead-end leading to immobility?
Join me at 2:30pm today to learn simple ways to recognize and unwind unnecessary tension in our body and learn how to develop a calming practice. We will also talk about the fear of the unknown.
My sweet pet snake (his name is Fiyero, like the character in Wicked) will make an appearance to illustrate how fear is both a natural response and can be lessened with knowledge, awareness, and practice. If you strongly react to snakes, you might look away from your screen for the first part of our FIX.
