If you’ve spent years achieving, leading, and supporting others—and now feel called to realign with what matters most—join us for a retreat to return with renewed energy, clear purpose, and deeper connection to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

You stand still, gazing out over rolling hills bathed in golden light at Monté da Orada.
The landscape stretches wide and wild, and something inside you mirrors that same spaciousness.
For the first time in a long time, you feel clear—not in a forced, logical way, but in that quiet, steady way that comes when something real clicks into place.
A bigger vision is forming—not just for what’s next in your life, but for how you want to lead, love, and show up in all of it.
As you inhale deeply, your chest expands and your spine lengthens.
Your body naturally moves with the waves of your breath, just like in the Qigong flow you’ve practiced each morning.
You remember how good it feels to be fully alive.
You’re thinking about the breathwork journeys, when you were the breather—fully immersed in the music.
And the deeply touching way being a sitter, offering your presence in a new way for your breathwork partner and the group, has awakened a new sense of hope.

A knowing lands.
What you want next in life isn’t just about you—it’s also about the kind of partner, parent, and leader you want to be.
You realize that your own alignment gives others permission to find theirs. That your authenticity is a form of leadership.
It’s not just possible—it’s powerful.
You feel grounded and yet lighter. Stronger with a new spark of confidence. Energized.
Like you're making your way back to you.
Welcome to The Power of Breathwork
Imagine experiencing the space, support, and practices to help you reconnect with what matters—to find clarity, energy, and alignment.
- Step away from the daily routine for time to pause and reflect on what matters most in your life, your relationships, and your work, so you can return home with renewed inspiration and intention.
Gain clarity and confidence about the future you want to create through self-reflection within a group of like-minded individuals so you can trust yourself to step into your vision of what’s next.
Feel stronger and more at ease in how you show up for the people you care about through breathwork, Qi Gong, and learning to hold space with presence and care for yourself and others.

Monte de Orada: An Ancient Sanctuary
Tucked into the quiet countryside of southwest Portugal is a hidden gem.
After a scenic drive from Lisbon, you arrive down a winding dirt road, where the pace of life starts to shift. Surrounded by forest, open skies, and the sound of wind in the trees, it doesn’t take long to feel the calm of the place settle in.
Monte De Orada is more than a retreat center, it's a place designed to help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect.

Each space is crafted with natural materials, blending rustic charm with modern comfort.
Accommodations at Orada are simple, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed for comfort, including private suites, a main house, bungalows, and a tiny house.
You’ll wake up to quiet mornings, and have access to the land where you can relax and swim in the bio pool, float down the nearby irrigation canal, or explore the gardens, terraces, and wooded grounds—each experience inviting you to unwind and be present.

Cuisine Beyond Nourishment
“I didn’t think I’d love vegan food
—now I’m asking for the cookbook.”
At Monte da Orada, food is more than fuel—it’s a return to deep, joyful nourishment.
You’re seated at a long wooden table as golden light filters through the trees. The scent of roasted sesame, caramelized root vegetables, and fresh herbs drifts through the air. A warm bowl of pumpkin soup with coconut and nutmeg arrives, and with the first bite, your body exhales. It’s exactly what you didn’t know you needed.
Meals here are plant-based, seasonal, and beautiful—think sesame-roasted purple cabbage with tofu and blood orange tahini, raw Pad Thai salad with peanut-ginger dressing, and golden baked bananas in coconut caramel. And then there’s the blackberry cardamom pie—warm, spiced, and unforgettable.
Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll be amazed. Guests arrive curious or skeptical and leave raving, asking for recipes and savoring every bite. Orada’s food is the favorite—hands down—across every retreat we’ve led.
Your dietary needs will be thoughtfully cared for, so you can relax and enjoy. By the time you’re sipping tea under the stars, you’ll feel it: this nourishment reaches far beyond the plate. It brings you back to yourself.

Your Retreat Experience
- Day 1: Arrive
- Day 2: Connect
- Day 3 + 4: Breathe
- Day 5: Integrate
- Day 6: Depart
-
Day 1: Arrive
Your journey begins with meeting the group at the Lisbon airport for the van ride to Monte da Orada, a peaceful nature sanctuary nestled in the rolling hills of coastal Portugal. As the landscape shifts, you take in the extraordinary cork trees and vast views.
As you arrive at Monte de Orada, the pace slows, and you feel yourself beginning to arrive fully. You’ll settle into your room, take a quiet walk through the gardens and terraces, and get your bearings. Over your first nourishing meal, you’ll meet your fellow participants.
This day is about landing softly, exhaling fully, and feeling rooted in the space and yourself.
-
Day 2: Connect
The rhythm of retreat begins to take hold. You’ll start the morning with Infinite Energy, a gentle, grounding practice that blends breathwork and Qigong to clear your mind and awaken your body.
Today is all about laying the foundation of trust and connection—getting to know the group, exploring your first breathwork session, and being paired with your breathwork partner.
You’ll have time to rest, receive a massage, or meet one-on-one with a facilitator. By day’s end, you’ll feel the beginnings of a container strong enough to hold the deeper work ahead.
-
Day 3 + 4: Breathe
These two days are at the heart of the retreat experience, offering time and space for personal insight, emotional release, and meaningful reflection through the practice of Transpersonal Breathwork.
One day, you’ll be the breather, turning inward to explore your inner world with the support of your partner and the group.
The other day, you’ll be the sitter, learning the powerful practice of holding space—being fully present for someone else’s process with care and respect. Both roles offer profound opportunities for growth, clarity, and connection.
Breathwork sessions take place in the morning, followed by a shared group integration circle after lunch. The rest of the day is yours to rest, walk the grounds, book a massage, or meet privately with one of the facilitators if you’d like deeper support.
-
Day 5: Integrate
This day gives you the space to slow down, reflect, and begin integrating what’s surfaced.
You’ll move through the morning with the Infinite Energy practice, then have the option to explore the landscape on a guided hike—breathing deeply, walking gently, and letting it all begin to settle.
Later, we’ll gather for a group integration session and offer a range of optional activities like writing, movement, or SoulCollage® to help you ground your insights.
In the evening, we’ll celebrate with our last dinner together. Laughter, music, and dance. Stars in the night sky, warm and deep conversation, a beautiful fire.
-
Day 6: Depart
You wake to the soft hush of morning and gather for one last beautiful breakfast—warm tea in hand, sun on your face, the scent of spices and fresh bread rising from the kitchen. There’s laughter, quiet reflection, and the bittersweet rhythm of goodbye.
You take time to hug your fellow travelers and maybe even pick up a copy of Orada’s beloved cookbook to bring a taste of this experience home. Then it’s time to board the van—back to the Lisbon airport, or on to the next chapter of your Portugal adventure.
You leave lighter, clearer, more connected… and changed in ways you’re only just beginning to understand.

What This Retreat Experience Can Offer You
You’ve done so much. You’ve built a life, a career, a family. You’ve carried responsibilities and held it all together.
But under the surface, there’s been a quiet wondering: Is this really it?
Maybe you’ve been craving more—more meaning, more connection, more space to be fully yourself.
You want to show up for the people in your life in ways that feel authentic and strong, not just competent.
You’ll experience what it’s like to be seen and supported by a group of people who aren’t there to compete or perform, but to grow, reflect, and breathe alongside you.
And you’ll remember what it feels like to move through your day with clarity, purpose, and presence—not pressure.
You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need space. Support. And the willingness to come as you are.

A Letter from Alice
If something stirs in you as you look through these photos of Orada—I get it. I felt that same pull before our first retreat here. When we finally visited in 2023, the place blew us away. It was more than we imagined: warm sun through the cork trees, meals that were both nourishing and indulgent, space to slow down, breathe, and connect.
I know what it’s like to carry the weight of responsibility—work, family, life—and still feel something inside whispering: There’s more. This retreat is your chance to listen to that voice.
We’ve designed this experience for people like you: accomplished, thoughtful, ready for something deeper. Through breathwork, movement, reflection, and real connection, you’ll have space to reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with what matters most.
Over the past three years and 25 retreats, I’ve seen strangers become trusted allies and lifelong friends. The kind of connections that give you hope for what’s possible. That’s the magic we want to share with you.
You don’t need to be an expert in breathwork or self-discovery. Just come as you are—with curiosity and a willingness to pause. Our extraordinary team—Kyle, Kat, Jarrod, and I—are honored to guide you through it all.
We can’t wait to return to Orada with you in October.
With gratitude
Alice Dommert
Your Facilitator Team
This team of facilitators has spent the last few years working together—holding space, guiding transformation, and witnessing the magic that unfolds through Transpersonal Breathwork. We chose to return to Monte da Orada because we know what’s possible here. It’s a place where clarity deepens, connection grows, and people discover just how powerful the breath can be.

Prasada + The Infinite Center
In second grade, I said I wanted to be an architect, and I achieved that goal. But the journey didn’t stop there. I became an exhibit designer, then launched my own architecture and design practice.
I became a mother to two amazing children, and everything seemed to go as planned. Then, in 2008, amid parenting and a recession, I realized that the old ways of living were no longer working.
That turning point led me to some serious self-reflection and decisions, as well as mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork practices. These are the tools I now share through Prasada, the company I founded in 2009, and The Infinite Center, which I co-founded to go deeper into retreat work and personal growth.
Each turn and pivot has taught me how to navigate change with clarity and purpose.
I know what it’s like to carry a lot, to ask big questions, and to long for space to breathe and listen for what’s next. That’s exactly what we’ll create together.
Jarrod Matteson
Prasada + The Infinite Center
I’ve always been insatiably curious—from studying advanced mathematics to practicing real estate law at a high level. But over time, my questions shifted. It wasn’t just “how does this work?”—it became “is this the life I want to be living?”
Meditation has been my anchor for 25 years, teaching me how to listen more deeply—especially to myself. That inner clarity led me to the critical decision to move beyond my law career into more meaningful work: supporting people through transformation with the same focus I once brought to complex legal deals.
I understand what it's like to be at a crossroads, where your decision impacts those around you. I took that step and along the way have seen how my decision to initiate change inspired others in positive ways I could not have imagined.
Today, I serve as CFO at Prasada and co-founder of The Infinite Center. As a certified breathwork coach and graduate of Psychedelics Today’s Vital program, I bring both structure and presence to every retreat. My passion is helping others find alignment, clarity, and the freedom to live and lead with more purpose.
that creativity is our native language—and every breath,
a doorway back to ourselves.”

than a practice—
it’s a gateway to remembering

Psychedelics Today
At 16, a near-death experience during a snowboarding accident changed the course of my life.
It opened a door into non-ordinary states of consciousness—and sparked a lifelong fascination with how these states can support healing, insight, and transformation.
I studied Transpersonal Psychology and later earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in somatic therapy. My early work centered on supporting at-risk youth and individuals in the early stages of psychosis—experiences that deepened my respect for the complexity of the human psyche.
As Co-Founder and VP of Education at Psychedelics Today, I lead the Vital Program in Psychedelic Therapies and Integration and facilitate Transpersonal Breathwork, offering spaces where people can access their inner healing intelligence.
Still Thinking About It?
We get it. You’ve got a full plate, and making space for yourself doesn’t always come easy. But if you’re feeling that quiet pull—like this might be what you’ve been needing—don’t ignore it.
Because if you don’t come, you’ll likely keep moving through life the way you always have. You’ll stay in motion, keep carrying the load, and maybe that voice inside—asking what’s next or is there more—will get quieter again.
But if you say yes to this?
- • You’ll have the space to actually hear yourself think again.
- • You’ll reconnect with what matters—and leave with clarity about where you're heading.
- • You’ll feel lighter, more grounded, and energized—in your body and your life.
- • You’ll remember what it’s like to be truly seen, not just for what you do, but for who you are.
- • You’ll gain real tools to lead with more intention, connection, and alignment—at work and at home.
This isn’t just a retreat.
It’s a reset. A realignment.
A rare moment to press pause—and come back to yourself.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this a psychedelic retreat?
No. This retreat does not involve psychedelics. However, breathwork can sometimes evoke powerful insights and sensations similar to non-ordinary states—but it’s entirely natural and grounded in your own breath.
I’ve never done breathwork before. Will I feel out of place?
Not at all. Many people come to this retreat with little or no experience. We’ll guide you every step of the way—you’ll feel safe, supported, and surprised by how naturally it all unfolds.
You’ll experience a variety of practices each day, but the two main Transpersonal Breathwork sessions are spread out across two days. Other days include gentler breath-based practices and plenty of integration time.
What is Transpersonal Breathwork, exactly?
Transpersonal Breathwork is a powerful, facilitated process using intentional breathing, evocative music, and a safe container to access inner insight and emotional release. It’s not about fixing—it’s about uncovering your own inner wisdom.
Here are more details about Transpersonal Breathwork.
What happens if I don’t “get anything” from breathwork or feel overwhelmed?
Every experience is different. Some people have emotional releases, others gain quiet clarity. There’s no “right” way—it’s all about meeting yourself where you are.
The process is fully supported by experienced facilitators and a trusted partner—you’ll never be alone, and your experience will be respected.
What’s the benefit of doing this work in a group instead of on my own?
There’s something powerful about being seen and supported by others on a similar path. This isn’t group therapy—it’s group wisdom. Shared insight, reflection, and connection often create breakthroughs that solo work can’t.
What if I don’t feel comfortable opening up in a group?
That’s completely okay. Group sharing is always optional, and you’ll never be pressured to share anything you’re not ready to. This is a respectful, confidential space where everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace—and where authentic connection builds naturally over time.
Will I have any free time to myself?
Absolutely. Each day includes spacious windows of time to rest, walk the grounds, book a massage, or just be alone with your thoughts. This is your time—you’ll never feel rushed.
Can I opt out of any sessions or activities?
Yes. You are always at choice. We encourage full participation, but you’ll never be forced to join something that doesn’t feel right for you.
Do I need to be physically fit to participate?
No special fitness level is required; however, as part of your application process, you will complete a Breathwork Health Form to make sure there are no contraindications for the Transpersonal Breathwork.
Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes, and many people do. Whether you want to deepen a relationship or simply share the journey, this retreat is a powerful experience to do together.
What kind of people usually attend this retreat?
Leaders, professionals, creatives, and seekers—many of whom have built successful lives but are now asking, “What’s next?” If that sounds like you, you’ll feel right at home.
While many wellness retreats are women-centered, this experience is intentionally inclusive and designed to support the kinds of reflection and depth that many men are craving too.
Will there be Wi-Fi? Can I check in with work?
There is Wi-Fi available, but we encourage stepping away as much as possible to fully recharge. This is your chance to unplug, reflect, and return clearer and more focused.
Will I be sharing a room with someone?
You can choose a private suite, a shared bungalow, or a tiny house—whatever suits your comfort level and budget. All options are cozy, clean, and quiet, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
I’m not vegan. Will I like the food?
We’ve had many meat-and-potatoes people say this was some of the best food they’ve ever had. Orada’s vegan meals are full of flavor, color, and soul—you’ll be surprised how satisfying they are.
I’m feeling stuck, but not sure what I need. Will this retreat help?
Yes. You don’t need to have the answers when you arrive. This retreat is designed to help you quiet the noise, reconnect with yourself, and uncover what truly matters.
I’m not sure I can justify this time and investment in myself.
That’s exactly why it matters. This isn’t indulgence—it’s alignment. Taking this time can shift how you show up in your life, work, and relationships for years to come.
How big is the group?
We keep the group intentionally small—usually 14–20 people—to maintain intimacy, safety, and meaningful connection.
What kind of results do people leave with?
Participants often leave feeling clearer, lighter, more aligned, and energized for the next chapter of their lives. They return home with fresh perspective, tools for navigating change, and a deeper connection to themselves and others.
I’m afraid I’ll go home feeling inspired but unsure how to integrate it all. Will I get tools to help?
Yes. Throughout the retreat we offer practical tools for integration—and you’ll leave with follow-up resources and support to help you integrate the insights you’ve gained into your everyday life and leadership.
