These rooms are in the Main House, with a shared bathroom, in a rebuilt traditional Portuguese adobe facing the sacred fire and valley.

There are several living rooms and community spaces to gather and get to know your fellow sojourners.

These private independent suites are bathed in the sun, and open to the sweet sights and sounds of the mandala gardens near the sauna and the biopool.

Each suite has a private bathroom, outdoor seating area, hammock.

The Bungalows are charming shelters located with beautiful vistas of the Valley, each with its own private adjacent bathroom and hot showers.

The bungalows are in a secluded area, a short 5-minute walk away from the main center.

There are four Bungalows available.

Single or Couple Accommodation

The Tiny House is a charming shelter, with its own wood burner and private outdoor bathroom. The bathtub has an astonishing view of the valley. It includes two porches, a hammock, and wifi.

There is one Tiny House available.

Cancellation Policy

  • The $1000 USD deposit is non-refundable. 
  • Balance payment for the retreat is due 30 days after receipt of your deposit or by August 26th. Any registration after August 26th will be due in the full amount at the time of registration. 
  • If you prefer a custom payment plan, we can do so and will connect you with Ales, our Retreat Travel Manager.
  • Cancellations made between June 26th, 2025, and August 26, 2024, will result in a loss of 50% of payments made.
  • Cancellations made between August 27th, 2025, and October 6th, 2025, will result in a total loss of the retreat price. 

  • Trip cancellation insurance is required for your protection and ease of mind. You can use Travel Guard or other travel insurance companies online and choose from several policy options. Be sure to read the fine print and understand the details of the coverage.
  • If we determine that this retreat is not the right fit for you, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. In this case, all payments will be fully refunded.

 

Trip Minimum

  • The retreat is planned for 20 participants. If the trip does not meet the minimum required number of 16 participants, we reserve the right to cancel. In this case, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
  • In the event of currency exchange fluctuations exceeding 5%, the total trip price may be subject to change.

Roommates

  • We will do our best to pair you with another participant looking for a roommate. However, if we’re unable to find a match, your double room will be treated as a single, and charged as a single occupancy retreat fee.

Flights

  • This Journey will commence on Sunday, October 26, from 3-5 pm when check-in opens at Orada. The ride from LIS to Orada is around 2.5 hours, and transport will depart LIS around 1p, so look for flights that arrive at LIS before 11 am that day if you choose the group shuttle option.
  • Departure from Orada will be at 10 am on Friday, October 31st. We recommend booking flights that depart LIS after 3 pm that day.

Special Considerations

  • Make It a Business Write-Off: If you own a business and this retreat supports your professional growth, it may qualify as a tax-deductible expense. Check with your tax advisor to see if you can write it off.
  • Think about arriving a day or two early to settle in, adjust to the altitude, and get ready for a journey of a lifetime. Also, seriously consider staying a couple of days extra and give yourself time to integrate all you’ve experienced.
